This policy describes how Northstar Tech MN ("I," "me," or "my"), operated by Henry and serving the Minneapolis, Minnesota area, handles information collected through northstartechmn.com. If you have questions about this policy, email me directly at henry@northstartechmn.com.
When you fill out the contact form or the community-program inquiry form, I collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you're asking about, and whatever you write in the message field. These forms are processed through Splitforms, a third-party form-delivery service that emails your submission directly to me. I don't maintain a separate database of form submissions beyond that email.
This site uses PostHog, a web analytics service, to understand how visitors use the site. PostHog may collect information such as the pages you view, the site or link that referred you, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and how you interact with the page. PostHog sets a cookie or similar identifier in your browser to distinguish you from other visitors across a session.
I use the information above to respond to your inquiries, provide the services you've requested, and understand which pages and services people find useful so I can improve the site. I do not sell personal information to third parties, and I do not use it for targeted advertising.
Under Minnesota's Consumer Data Privacy Act and similar state privacy laws, small businesses like this one are generally exempt from the law's requirements, including any mandatory cookie-banner or consent-management obligations — so this site doesn't present a cookie banner.
